The ultra-compact probe IRP40.02 is specifically designed for small machining centers and lathes. Its compact structure makes it an ideal choice for measurements on high-speed machining centers using small tool holders and tool magazines. The compact probe system features bidirectional signal transmission technology, suitable for in-machine measurement on high-speed cutting machines, CNC lathes, or CNC grinding machines that use small tool holders. The tool holder, protected by THERMO-LOCK@ technology, prevents high temperatures from spreading from the machine spindle to the probe, allowing for high-precision measurements even under significant temperature differences.

The unidirectional repeatability has been significantly improved to 0.5 microns; the continuous battery life far exceeds 800 hours, with actual normal use exceeding 3 months and standby time greater than 12 months; the newly developed intelligent touch measurement technology can intelligently filter numerous interferences during the measurement process, enhancing measurement stability; the first in-machine probe with Z-axis unexpected overrun collision light display provides intuitive monitoring for the safe use of the probe; the unique chameleon technology makes this probe suitable for direct replacement of probes from other manufacturers.
02 Compact Structure
The length is very short, saving space for Z-axis movement; suitable for small machining centers and the narrow rotary space inside lathes; the high-performance receiver requires very little space, making installation more convenient.
03 Reliability of Performance and Process
HDR/HDR+ (High-Speed Data Transmission) technology makes it unaffected by external environmental light; a larger sending/receiving angle range ensures accurate and reliable data transmission; adjustable blowing nozzles installed on the probe and receiver ensure the cleanliness of the measurement and receiving areas.
04 Probe Activation
Individually coded infrared signals are used to turn the probe on and off; shares a receiver with the infrared tool setter.
05 Suitable for Workshop Operations
The probe's protection level reaches the highest sealing level in the industry, IP68; stainless steel housing, high-strength tempered glass cover; uses 2 pieces of 1/2AA batteries; simple lateral runout adjustment method.
